After the 50th Daytona 500 – we did what we always do after the race… we went to Cancun Lagoon to grab dinner and wait for traffic to clear out. Brother-in-law got a little bit of sun today and seems to be in a good mood — this is his favorite part of the day and there is no living with him if he does not get to go to Cancun Lagoon after the race — my sister is so afraid of how he will act that she insists we accommodate him …and we do… how can you say “NO” to him ??
More Corona?? Sure !! Another Margarita? Sure !!
This trip was a milestone for Jerry — he gave away MY clothing in Froggy’s to a woman he did not know, which almost started a small riot — tried to dance with a light pole along A1A and then dropped trow in the middle of A1A, thank goodness the police officer in the Burger King parking lot was facing the other way.
He then did the Jer-Bear dance along the hallways in Ocean Walk all the way back to our room…. this is the equivalent of our Jerry meeting one of the Grateful dead bears…cuz that is the stance he takes as he slowly makes his way along the hallway…
Coining a totally new phrase this trip…”Getting all Jerried-Up”
Well, it happens, and it’s not pretty but some of us live on the edge a bit more than others..
The chicken enchiladas…mmmmm…..
Big – steak tacos…..
Tamales with enchalada sauce ..(MINE….)
These are like the biggest tracos I have ever seen — careful, there is no way to gracefully indulge here…
Of course Gino has what he always has…FAJITAS….
Beef Fahitas — nicely done.
Coconut Schwimps….
All N’ all — You can’t go wrong at Cancun Lagoon – the place is very predictable, and I have never had a bad meal here..
Back to Jerry —
Back off girls…..he’s my sister’s….. LOL
